Three decades of veterinary excellence
1993
Tineta Pharma was established with a clear mission: to give Indian farmers and veterinarians access to high-quality, science-backed animal health solutions at an affordable price. Starting from a single formulation unit, the company set out to change the way veterinary care was practised across India.
1997
Four years after founding, Tineta launched Vitum H – a specialised udder conditioner developed for high-yielding dairy cattle. The product quickly became a trusted name among dairy farmers and veterinarians across Gujarat and beyond, establishing Tineta's reputation for effective, research-driven formulations.
2021
Recognising the rapid growth of India's aquaculture sector, Tineta launched its dedicated Aqua Division in 2021. The move marked a significant expansion beyond traditional livestock care, bringing the same standard of quality and scientific rigour to fish and shrimp farming – a market with millions of livelihoods at stake.
2024
In 2024, Tineta Pharma became part of Trentar – a diversified group with a strong footprint in the life sciences and agri-input sectors. The acquisition brought new resources, expanded R&D capabilities, and a broader distribution network, setting the stage for Tineta's next phase of growth.
2026
Tineta formally entered the companion animal market in 2026 with a dedicated range of products for dogs and cats. Built on decades of veterinary expertise, the new division reflects a changing India – one where pets are family, and where owners expect the same level of care that professional farmers have trusted for over thirty years.
